Simon (Co-Founder) shares how Solana ID turns wallet history into user rewards, smarter airdrops and performance marketing for the decentralized world.
At Solana Crossroads 2025, Simon, co-founder of Solana ID, unveiled a powerful vision for the future of Web3 identity: user reputation as the cornerstone of trust, incentives, and personalized on-chain perks. Through Solana ID, users build their profile based on real on-chain activity—unlocking access to a new wave of performance-driven engagement and targeted rewards.
Solana ID lets users transform their wallet history into a personalized reputation score. The system tiers users into four levels, with Tier 1 reserved for the most active and valuable accounts. This score becomes a gateway to meaningful benefits: exclusive airdrops, whitelist spots, premium discounts, and even free access to dApps looking to attract high-value users.
But Solana ID isn’t just for users. It serves as a powerful tool for developers and marketers, allowing dApps to target users based on verified activity—rather than wasting funds on bots or low-engagement airdrop hunters. In doing so, it bridges the gap between performance marketing and blockchain transparency.
Simon also discussed Solana ID’s token, $SOLID, launched in December 2024 via Swissborg’s permissionless launchpad. While the initial hype was high, Solana ID now finds itself with a growing user base, a strong product, and its lowest token price to date—a situation some may see as a long-term opportunity.
The preseason airdrop campaign rewarded users who minted the early "Priority Pass" NFT and those with high Solana scores. To discourage dumping, a portion of tokens was reserved for long-term holders—who were later awarded with "Diamond Hands" badges as a form of social recognition.
Looking ahead, Simon teased the Karma Campaign, a points-based loyalty system that rewards users daily for engagement, referrals, and staking. While no future airdrop is guaranteed, karma points may play a central role in upcoming incentive plans.
Beyond perks and rewards, Solana ID’s long-term mission is bold: replacing opaque Web2 marketing with a transparent, user-first alternative. Instead of platforms like Google or Facebook monetizing user data without sharing revenue, Solana ID envisions a performance marketing engine that rewards users directly.
