At Crossroads 2025, Kouga shares views on tokenomics, utility-driven airdrops, and Solana’s mission to power global Web3 infrastructure.
At Solana Crossroads 2025, the crypto stage was taken by a surprising figure—Olympic bronze medalist Stan Horuna, now co-founder of Duel Duck, a decentralized prediction market platform with an ambitious mission: to transform how communities engage, educate, and monetize attention in Web3.
With a background in karate and decades of experience in global competition, Stan brings a high-performance mindset into the crypto world. Duel Duck, his latest endeavor, allows users to create their own predictions, set commission rates, and earn from both making and hosting duels. No house, no odds manipulation—just user-driven prediction markets powered by blockchain transparency.
The platform, built for transparency and decentralization, uses smart contracts to automate reward distribution. It also envisions launching its own token—delayed for now due to market conditions, but scheduled for late Q3. Stan made it clear: this isn't about a quick pump. The token will have real utility and be launched only when the platform has established a strong, engaged user base.
As for token distribution, airdrops are on the roadmap. While specific mechanics are still under discussion, the Duel Duck team sees airdrops as a collaborative tool for rewarding early adopters and building long-term engagement.
Looking ahead, Stan imagines a world where Duel Duck becomes a universal engagement widget—embedded in blogs, news sites, and project pages—allowing users to place predictions directly within content. He even envisions the emergence of "professional predictors" as a new digital profession, much like influencers in the early days of Instagram or YouTube.
