At Solana Crossroads 2025, Craig from Super Phoenix DAO sat down to discuss one of the boldest moves in blockchain gaming—purchasing the largest NFT spaceship in the Star Atlas metaverse. But this isn’t just about owning an expensive asset. Super Phoenix DAO is building an entire entertainment ecosystem within and beyond the ship, from races and concerts to eSports and AI-driven avatars.

“We purchased the largest Web3 spaceship asset within the Star Atlas game and metaverse.”

The DAO bought the $5 million mega-NFT with a vision: decentralize the ownership and in-game earnings so that DAO members benefit directly. Through strategic gamification, immersive 3D experiences, and upcoming integrations with other platforms like Portals, Super Phoenix is transforming this digital asset into a revenue-generating hub for Web3 gamers and creators.

“We’re building the space inside the game people want to go and hang out in between missions.”

Early NFT members were rewarded with airdrops that included smaller Star Atlas ships, crew avatars, and custom digital collectibles. Future campaigns will expand on this with customizable NFTs, wearables, and free-to-play missions that unlock DAO tokens and other perks. Membership NFTs can already be staked to earn points that will convert into tokens, making it a full-circle Web3 economy.

“We included some additional airdrops for folks who took a bet on us early.”

But the ambitions go beyond games. Super Phoenix DAO is building a 3D racetrack, a live-streaming theater, and even developing a social AI musician that can perform inside their ship’s metaverse space. With concert ticketing, esports tournaments, and branded sweepstakes, the DAO is creating a new kind of virtual destination where ownership meets entertainment.

“We want to make it a true entertainment hub and location for gamers.”

Craig summed it up best with a bold prediction for the future of AI performers: “Taylor Swift, you better take care of your career.” Whether or not an AI star can rise to that level, the DAO is clearly thinking big.
