4Dlabs Airdrop

Contributors capture first-person task data with sensor glasses and tactile gloves, or scan real spaces with a phone, for token rewards. 4Dlabs cleans that data, registers rights on-chain and licenses it to robotics companies. A planned Model Store would then sell trained robot skills through APIs and licensed deployment, moving the business from raw data to reusable models.

Airdrop farming steps

Step-by-Step Guide to Farming 4Dlabs Airdrop

1

Log In to the Task Hub: Go to https://dapp.4dlabs.space and sign in with a wallet, email or social account. Use an EVM wallet with a little BNB on BNB Chain for gas.

2

Connect Your Socials: Link your X, Discord and Telegram accounts, as each is required before its task. A verified X account earns 2x Score on X tasks and the highest referral rates.

3

Complete Social Tasks: On https://dapp.4dlabs.space/tasks, follow @4Dlabs_Official, repost the designated tweet, join Discord and subscribe to Telegram. These are one-time tasks.

4

Check In Daily: Check in at a landmark once every 24 hours (UTC+0) for 5 Score, with a 10 Score bonus on day 7 of a streak. Each check-in is an on-chain transaction, so it costs BNB gas.

5

Refer Friends: Share your referral link from the Referral tab to earn 10% of direct and 1% of indirect referrals' check-in and social Score. Verified X accounts get 20% and 2%.

6

Track Your Progress: Check your Score, rank and connections at https://dapp.4dlabs.space/profile, and watch official channels for new on-chain tasks.

Project Review

Problem Solved

AI models learned language from internet text, but robots have no equivalent corpus covering gravity, friction and contact force. Simulation drifts from real physics, lab collection is costly and repetitive, vision-only data misses touch, and teleoperation lacks scale. 4Dlabs argues no existing method is real, multimodal, scalable and diverse at once. Its fix is crowdsourced first-person capture across vision, touch and force, gathered in real homes and workplaces rather than labs. The logic is simple: 10,000 people pouring coffee once in their own kitchens teach a model more than 100 employees repeating it in one room. Token incentives and on-chain rights fund that collection.

Tokenomics

The whitepaper names $4D as the network token, but no supply, allocation, vesting or launch date has been disclosed. Stated utility covers contributor rewards priced by data quality and scarcity, node staking, and settlement for data, API calls, Model Store sales and consumer AI apps. Burns on usage and buybacks are also mentioned, without rates or mechanics. Demand therefore rests on robotics buyers paying in $4D, which remains unproven. Today, users earn Score through check-ins, social tasks and referrals. The docs call Score a "key factor" in future rewards, while the Terms say it promises no tokens. No conversion rate exists.

Perspectives

The roadmap has two phases: build the data infrastructure, then become a distribution platform once data reaches critical scale and quality. No dates are attached, and the phone scanning app and node programs are still unreleased. Success depends on shipping hardware to real contributors while keeping crowdsourced data clean enough for robotics buyers to pay for it. That is hard: Sybil attempts tend to follow token rewards, and hardware adds cost and logistics that software rivals avoid. First-person video also raises privacy and biometric questions. If the data proves valuable, the Model Store is the real upside, because one dataset can power many licensed models.

Founders and Team

Bruce BaiCEO
Ian Y.XuCo-Founder
Xin ZhouCo-Founder
HaomingCo-Founder

The team fits the mission on paper. CEO Bruce Bai holds a Zhejiang University PhD and founded two computer-vision startups. Ian Y. Xu is a CUHK PhD and University of Michigan postdoc, formerly at Meta Reality Labs and SenseTime. Xin Zhou comes from Baidu USA with over a decade leading AI systems, and Haoming sold xPerception to Baidu. That is strong 3D and AI depth, but every bio traces back to a single YZi Labs post. 4Dlabs publishes no team page, and no LinkedIn or personal X profiles were found. The operating entity is unnamed beyond "4Dlabs", with Delaware governing law.

Funding

Lead Investors: YZi Labs

4Dlabs was named to the YZi Labs EASY Residency in December 2025 and announced the investment in September 2026. No amount or valuation is public. Standard Season 2 terms offered up to $500K per team through SAFEs, including $150K for 5% equity. YZi Labs is a strong signal, but this is accelerator-sized money, not a war chest. Hardware production, global data collection and model training all burn capital, so a larger raise looks necessary. The whitepaper frames YZi's real value as BNB Chain connections, market makers and liquidity access. No other investors have been named, and no later round has been disclosed.

Community

The community counts about 44K Discord members, 26K X followers and 10K Telegram subscribers. Those numbers look incentive-driven rather than organic: Discord outweighs X because joining it was a required campaign step. Season 1 has logged roughly 193K check-ins, led by Asia, each paid for in BNB gas. Top leaderboard scores near 7,800 sit far above what check-ins and social tasks allow, so referrals clearly dominate the rankings. The closed Alpha campaign already rewarded early users with better referral rates. No specific countries are blocked, though the Terms bar sanctioned use and some features may be geo-limited.

Competitors

PrismaX is the closest peer by funding, paying users to teleoperate real robot arms after an $11M a16z CSX-led seed. AXIS Robotics crowdsources simulated teleoperation in the browser on Base, with no hardware needed. Humanoid Network and OpenRoboto Shift are nearer on data type, paying contributors for first-person video through an app and on Bittensor respectively. 4Dlabs' edge is multimodal capture, adding touch and force where these rivals mostly rely on video or simulation. The weakness is timing: peers already collect data, while Season 1 here is only check-ins and social tasks. The niche is getting crowded, and non-crypto data vendors chase the same buyers.

Strengths:
Multimodal Data Angle: Capturing touch and force alongside vision targets the dexterity data that video-only networks cannot supply.
YZi Labs Backing: Support from YZi Labs brings credibility and direct access to BNB Chain ecosystem partners and liquidity.
Relevant Founder Background: The founders combine computer vision and AI experience from Meta, SenseTime and Baidu, including one prior exit to Baidu.
Risks:
Undisclosed Token Terms: With no supply, allocation or Score conversion published, farmers cannot estimate what their effort is worth.
Hardware Execution Burden: Scaling sensor devices to crowdsourced contributors is costly, and no units shipped or dataset size has been reported.
Unproven Buyer Demand: No customer or revenue is public, yet token value depends on robotics companies paying for this data.

Conclusion

4Dlabs is a credible but early bet on a differentiated corner of the physical AI data trade. The multimodal thesis is sharp and the YZi Labs backing is real, yet almost everything that would prove it is still missing. There is no published tokenomics, no named customer, no reported dataset and no live data contribution for regular users. Rivals are ahead on product. Farming is simple and cheap, needing only small BNB gas fees, but referrals dominate the leaderboard and Score carries no token promise. For now, this is a promising early-stage contender, not a proven one. Keep expectations modest until token terms appear.
