Metric Airdrop

Metric replaces the classic AMM curve with active pools: a price provider sets the reference price from oracles like Chainlink, and liquidity moves with it. Traders pay zero fees and fill at the live market price, while anyone can provide liquidity or deploy a pool. Routed through major aggregators, Metric has processed over $26B in volume across Ethereum, BNB Chain and Robinhood Chain.

Airdrop farming steps

Step-by-Step Guide to Farming Metric Airdrop

1

Create Your Referral Link: Connect your wallet at https://app.metric.xyz/referrals to generate your own link.

2

Swap Regularly on Metric: Make real swaps at https://app.metric.xyz on BNB Chain or Robinhood Chain for lower gas. Trading is fee-free, but check the quote, price impact and slippage before confirming.

3

Provide Liquidity (Optional): Deposit into a pool such as a tokenized stock or WETH/USDG pool after checking its tier, curator and safeguards. This carries higher risk, as LPs can lose their entire deposit.

Project Review

Problem Solved

Classic AMMs discover price inside the pool and rely on arbitrageurs to correct it, so LPs keep losing value to traders with better information. Concentrated liquidity improves capital efficiency but forces LPs to manage static ranges. Metric splits the job in two: a curator-chosen Price Provider quotes a bid, ask and reference price from oracles or custom logic, and the pool holds liquidity in bins that move with that reference. The pool never acts as its own oracle, so trades settle near the real market price rather than a stale onchain ratio. This design suits assets with an external price anchor, like tokenized stocks, forex, gold and crypto majors.

Tokenomics

Metric has no token, and no supply, allocation or airdrop has been announced. The protocol already runs a revenue model: traders pay zero explicit fees, while spread and bin fees are split between LPs, curators and Metric, with a default 7.5% protocol share. An optional notional fee, currently switched off, is capped at 1%. The only live incentive is a referral program launched in October 2026, listed as points-based, with reward details still pending. Self-referrals can be voided and the program can change at any time. If a token arrives, fee capture is the obvious utility, but nothing has been confirmed.

Perspectives

Metric's thesis is that onchain markets for tokenized stocks and RWAs need venues priced to the real world, not to pool ratios. Early numbers support it: five days after launch, Metric reported $11M TVL and $1.2B in volume, nearly $500M of it from tokenized stocks on BNB Chain and Robinhood Chain. The real test is whether volume keeps pace as TVL grows, since LP yields dilute quickly otherwise. Contracts are already deployed on Base, Arbitrum, Monad, MegaETH and others, and further BNB Chain integrations like PancakeSwap are planned. Key risks are curator quality, oracle reliability and dependence on tokenized stock issuers.

Founders and Team

Christos GkoliasCTO

Metric's team is largely anonymous. The only publicly identified member is Christos Gkolias, who joined after 3.5 years at Uniswap Labs and is described by third parties as CTO and former Uniswap Engineering Director. No founder has been named, and the GitHub organization lists no public members. The product partly offsets this: five audits from Zellic and Sherlock, public recognition from Chainlink and BNB Chain, and integrations with major aggregators and block builders. Seven months in stealth before launch also points to a team focused on building rather than marketing. Still, accountability is limited for a protocol holding LP funds.

Funding

Self-Funded
$2.5 MILLION
MARCH 2026

Metric has not raised outside capital. Instead, the team seeded its pools with $2.5M of its own money and routed volume through aggregators during a seven-month stealth phase. For a DEX this young, passing $26B in volume without VC backing is a strong signal of real demand. It also means a future token would carry no investor allocation pressure. The flip side is runway: no treasury size, revenue figures or backers have been disclosed, so it is unclear how long the team can fund development, audits and liquidity incentives. The 7.5% protocol share of spread fees provides some income, though amounts are unknown.

Community

Metric has 17.5K followers on X and roughly 2,500 Discord members, with no Telegram channel. That is small, but most activity comes from aggregator routing rather than retail users, so community size understates real usage. Organic attention is building, with BNB Chain, Chainlink and DeFi commentators publicly highlighting the launch and LP yields. The referral program, live since October 21, 2026, has started drawing airdrop hunters, though rewards remain undisclosed. Concentration is a concern: the top two curators handle about 90% of volume. No geographic restrictions or KYC requirements have been announced for traders or LPs.

Competitors

Uniswap is the main EVM incumbent, with far deeper TVL but much lower capital turnover. In tokenized stocks, Metric's 7-day volume growth of $310.9M beat Meteora and Uniswap by more than 10x. The closest design peers are Solana propAMMs like HumidiFi, BisonFi and Tessera V, which already handle about 40% of Solana swap flow. On Ethereum, propAMMs hold only about 7% share, leaving room to grow. Metric differs from Solana propAMMs by opening pools to outside LPs and permissionless curators rather than a single market maker. Intent-based venues like CoW Swap compete for the same aggregator order flow.

Strengths:
Real Product Traction: Over $26B in volume and leading tokenized stock DEX growth show demand before any token incentives.
Strong Ecosystem Support: Chainlink, BNB Chain and major aggregators already route flow through Metric's active pools.
No VC Overhang: A self-funded team means any future token would not carry investor allocations or unlocks.
Risks:
Undisclosed Rewards: No token, airdrop or referral benefit has been confirmed, so farming effort may go unrewarded.
Curator and Oracle Risk: Malicious curators or stale oracle prices can drain pools, and LPs can lose their entire deposit.
Anonymous Leadership: Only one team member is publicly identified, limiting accountability for a protocol holding user funds.

Conclusion

Metric is one of the stronger pre-token DEX setups around: a live product, a clear design edge, heavy volume and a tailwind from tokenized stocks on BNB Chain and Robinhood Chain. It is a credible contender, but the airdrop itself is pure speculation since no token, points value or snapshot has been announced. The anonymous team and curator-dependent risk model call for caution, especially for LPs. For airdrop hunters, the low-cost route is regular swaps on cheap chains plus a referral link, keeping capital at risk small until Metric reveals what its referral program actually pays.
